A Prison Tale

Lillo Brancato Jr. was sentenced to 10 years in jail for an attempted robbery charge that resulted in the death of police officer Daniel Enchautegui. Last year Brancato was acquitted of the murder while his accomplice Steven Armento was convicted of first degree murder which he received life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Brancato has served 3 years in jail while awaiting trial which will be credited towards his 10 year sentence. He claims drugs including heroin and painkillers caused his downfall which led to him participating in the robbery. He is best known for his roles on the Sopranos and the film A Bronx Tale.
