Put the kids on lock down, Robert Sylvester Kelly or R. Kelly to those who don't know him personally, is officially single. Like it really matters, but R. Kelly and his ex-wife Andrea's divorce has been finalized. The couple filed for divorce in 2006 after 11 years of marriage.
I think infidelity, allegations of child sexual abuse and dirty sex tapes with minors might have had something to do with the divorce, but I'm not 100% sure. The two put out a statement saying:
"The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage and will share joint custody of their three children," the lawyers said in announcing that a judgment for a dissolution of marriage was entered Thursday.
"The details of this agreement will remain confidential and the family requests that their privacy be respected during this time."
Does this mean I officially have a shot now? Like legally? Can someone just remind him to empty his bladder first, thanks ;)
