Honored

This years artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are hip hop pioneers Run-DMC, rock group Metallica, soul man Bobby Womack, R&B group Little Anthony and the Imperials, guitarist Jeff Beck, and singer Wanda Jackson. Sidemen inductees are sessions musician Spooner Oldham, bassist Bill Black and drummer D. J. Fontana, both were members of Elvis Presley's band.

Run-DMC is only the 2nd hip-hop act ever to be inducted after Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five in 2007.

The ceremony will air live on FUSE TV on April 4th from Cleveland, Ohio. For the first time in the history of the R&R Hall of Fame, a limited amount of tickets will be made available to the public at the Cleveland box office on January 24th (walk up only) and then they go on sale through Ticketmaster on January 26th.
