A planned spin off of Gossip Girl has been greenlit by the CW network. The show will focus on Lily van der Woodsen, played by Kelly Rutherford, in her teenage years. The show will take place during the 80's in LA, so you know the clothes will be to die for! Now we'll get to see what made Serena such a nutcase from the perspective of Lily's formative years, niceeee.
The expected pilot will air on May 11th during Gossip Girl's timeslot.
