What do you do when you've made even your most die hard fans, dislike you immensely on a personal scale? Do a variety show!! Yea, that's the ticket! CBS president Nina Tassler told reporters that John Mayer's variety show still has the green light. According to Tassler, "It'll be a music variety sketch show, and it's being developed now. It was his idea; we didn't reach out to him."
The show will start as a special and if the ratings do well then Mayer could have a full series pickup.
Just what I want to see, another douche bag on TV :)
